Talk about burning your gizzard!

It’s the 11th Annual Hot Chicken Festival held in East Park, 700 Woodland Street each year on the 4th of July.  A fire truck parade kicks off the festivities at 10:30a.m. and gates open at 11.  So come on out for some hot chicken, cold beer, and live music.  For those with more timid palates… other foods will also be available from local vendors.

The festival ends at 3:00p.m. so folks can head downtown.   Check out the Festival map for site layout and rules…
